Stu and Lefty pulled off the Premature Emissions shimm like a charm. Hats off to those doods for all their hard work!
Dark Fog's full-length "COSMIC TONE" will be in stock within the next couple of weeks. They will kick off their mini east coast tour with a show July 2nd at The Note w/ Inner Throne, Awesome Color, and Plastic Crimewave, and then it's off to Ypsi, Worcester, and a handful of New York shows. Here are the offical dates:

Dark Fog is confirming the last few dates of the their East Coast Tour in july. They are going out to support the upcoming release of their first full length release "COSMIC TONE". Get a sneak peek at the tracks here.

All I have is Dark Fog news, except that OSR will be moving ready or not mid May. It will most likely take a couple of months to get the studio all set up and running. Beleive it or not, as soon as it's functioning, Dark Fog will begin to record the second full length (I know the first isn't available yet, but danm if that should slow us down)

First and foremost, yesterday was my little brother Mike's birthday. Happy 25 Mike. I love you!
Alright then....We survived the valium, lone star (Texas's version of PBR), and weed infested weekend trip to Austin Texas for the South by Southwest festival. The local Austin paper gave Dark Fog up as a few of the critics choice so that was cool. I haven't heard from Sanford yet so I don't know how Minsk went.

Ahhh....the holidays are over!
Dark Fog is playing this coming thursday at the FIRESIDE BOWL. That's right FIRESIDE baby. Dark Fog will be playing at about 9:30-10. DJ WEEDBEEF will be on the wheels of steel.
Dark Fog and Buried at Sea have been invited to play the South by Southwest conference in Austin TX. So far it looks like Buried will be playing 3-16-05 and Dark Fog 3-19-05. We will post all details as we get them
We are trying to work out a larger release of Behold! The Living Corpse. Details will be posted as they developed.

In a steady hold pattern here at OSR. Things are finally coming together on multiple fronts:
There will be an OSR/ Dark Fog PARTY at the Black Beetle (2532 W. Chicago Ave) on December 7th at 9pm. We will be celebrating the release of Dark Fog's new 7", and spinning OSR tracks all night. We hope to preview the newest Dark Fog recordings if we can get them ready in time.

OSR's next release, DARK FOG, is going to be a 7". DARK FOG is playing their first show August 14th at the Abbey Pub with a band from Finland called BIG ELF .
BURIED AT SEA is set to slay with HIGH ON FIRE August 18th at the Double Door. BEHOLD! THE LIVING CORPSE has also reunited and join the bill. Last time HIGH ON FIRE played the Double Door (7-4-03) it was a night to remember.
Looks like GET SOME is gathering back up in Denver. OSR will possibly be releasing a 7" in september. Tracks were recorded before Chuck left for Denver to join Planes Mistaken for Stars. They have a new singer Peter. He, Neil, and Bob are moving out this week.

R.I.P. Marlon Brando. A man who lived 200 years in 80!
School Shooter will be recording this weekend, and playing a benefit for Democracy @ the Empty Bottle July 26th. That will be the last chance for anyone to see School Shooter. They have decided to part ways after this next show. I will greatly miss playing with Doug, but it's all for the best. New Rock will blossom from this departure.

Not much new to report. Buried At Sea is gearing up for their tour and obliteration of Emissions Fest at the end of this month. We should have new shirts available by then.
New and improved domain name...WWW.O-S-R.COM will mirror this domain!
We are still working on relocating. There have been some bumps in the road, as usual. There is talk of trying to set up a CO-OP type space for a few bands to practice in and have access to the studio. These ideas are just formulating.
Adam Norden of American Heritage has been working with Rollo Tomasi at Studio OSR for rollo's upcoming 2nd release.

Studio OSR is currently under massive upgrades and looking for a new place to call home. We will most likely be relocated to the Chicago's South Side in the next couple of months to set up a more permanent situation. With the purchase of a Soundcraft Ghost console we have officially run out of room at our current location.
School Shooter is in the process of recording their new material, and trying to figure out what of their unreleased stuff to finish off. We are not sure if we will end up releasing another e.p. or a full length. It depends how well the dusty songs from before Brian Gould took a leave from the band turn out. There is talk of uploading some tracks so he can lay down his vocals in NEW ZEALAND. Either way, expect new School Shooter shit mid summer.

It's been a long, dark winter. But we are coming out of it, with the hopes of some exciting things in spring and summer.
First and foremost, STUDIO OSR just helped AMERICAN HERITAGE record 3 tracks for their upcoming debut on ESCAPE ARTIST records
We have the new TYPEWRITER cd for sale in the store. OSR mastered the cd for these guys, and are trying to help them in their cause to pimp it to the world.
AND....a much awaited BURIED AT SEA tour is in the works. So far I have these dates for everyone:

Outside of that, the never ending project of getting STUDIO OSR in order. LOTS of new fancy preamps, converters, and microphones. I have been going through all the old projects, and am planning on releasing another compilation with unreleased tracks from SPEED OF LIGHT, GET SOME, SCHOOL SHOOTER, TH' HAUNTED, and I hope to uncover some other gems that will be added.
